Why is important to do manual review?
There are two main reasons why your store perform manual review. The first is financial: it is who will help you to avoid considerable damage with a transaction or make a profit with which you were not counting.
For example: an order of R$ 1,000.00 was marked as suspicious and sent for manual review queue. Considering the margin of your store is 20% and you do not want to do manual review. If you dispatch the order and it is fraudulent, you will bear a loss of R$ 800. If you deny and the purchase is legitimate, you will not earn R $ 200.
The second reason is operational: the manual review will leave increasingly optimized fraud for your e-commerce. There are orders that are easily detectable as legitimate by our algorithm and others who are quickly identified as fraudulent by the system. But there are also those that generate a little more doubt, and that our system can not be so sure about what should be done with that transaction.
The manual review, so it is crucial to "take the doubt" algorithm, that will understand what path should be followed if other purchases with that initially doubtful pattern recur. If they are frauds, they must be denied immediately. But if they are legitimate sales, why not approve them?
